Grassroots civic campaigns have proven highly effective in strengthening democratic values and boosting voter turnout worldwide.
Changing Direction is a nonpartisan grassroots movement whose goal is to strengthen democratic values. We are launching "Voting Democracy", a nationwide, volunteer-based community engagement operation. This initiative relies on:
• Mass-mobilization technology (Big Organizing),
* Proven strategies to increase turnout (Get Out The Vote),
* Meaningful public dialogue.(Deep Canvassing)
We are harnessing the power of several incredible grassroots networks established over the past few years.
Our goal is to reach the masses who might otherwise stay home on Election Day.
