Courage Kitchen: Providing Hope, One Meal at a Time

Courage Kitchen is more than a fully-fledged culinary operation; it is a heartfelt humanitarian endeavor. Founded by Chef Gome Galily, Gil Ackerman (who co-owns “Pas-Parfait,” a global catering company), and American entrepreneur Alan Klinger, this project emerged as a response to the events of October 7th.

At Courage Kitchen, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide hope, happiness, and a comforting sense of home through delicious soul food. We serve over 1,700 meals daily, efficiently providing nourishment at under $10 per meal to thousands of displaced families, Ashkelon civilians, Nova Festival survivors, IDF soldiers, and others. These meals are thoughtfully tailored to their specific needs and crafted by dedicated chefs in Tel Aviv.

While we've raised over $300,000 from generous private donors and received support from the Combat Antisemitism Movement, which donated $125,000, our budget is running thin. We can only sustain our activities until the end of November 2023. Yet, the needs in Israel persist. We plan to serve these groups for the next six months and aim to raise $3,000,000 to accomplish this, allowing us to provide nourishment to over 50,000 people monthly.

Your donation to Courage Kitchen will make a significant impact by helping us continue this vital service, providing food and nourishment to those in need. Your support enables them to focus on returning to normalcy, one meal at a time.
