What is Fly&AID?
WELCOME TO FLY&AID, a service scholarship that is designed to celebrate democracy in Israel. We are coordinating volunteer civil support projects in Israel, for promoting and supporting the democratic foundations of the country during those days when democracy is celebrated around the national elections.
For volunteering in Israel during the most exciting time of its democratic process, you can earn $ 250 a day service scholarship, for up to 3 days of service. The scholarship will be issued in the form of a gift card, which may be applied towards travel or used otherwise.

The program is aimed at Israeli citizens residing abroad and who wish to contribute from their time to Israeli society.
How the scholarship works:

Eligibility
Eligibility & Application Applicants must be 18+, Israeli citizens, able to legally enter and volunteer in Israel, complete required briefings, and agree to the nonpartisan code of conduct. Some roles may require language skills, background checks, or specific qualifications. Submission of accurate information and identity documentation is required. Registration and being approved for AID Coalition organized and approved travel arrangements Scholarship Amount, Form & Use Amount: $250 per verified service day, up to 3 Gift Cards per individual (valued at up to $750 per applicant). Service day is defined as 6–8 hours of approved activities. Form: Noncash, personal, non-transferable, gift cards, redeemable only for travel by approved AID Partners, subject to Travel Partner rules and restrictions or for post-project on-line purchases. No cash value, nontransferable, not for resale, and may expire; permitted uses and expiration appear in Gift Card terms. Timing: Gift Cards will be issued upon registration. AID reserves the right to charge the Applicant the full amount of the issued Gift Cards in case of failure to complete the volunteer services. AID may use digital codes or partnerdirect billing for redemption. Selection & Matching Applications are reviewed on service capacity, applicant personal needs, AID’ needs and requirements, skills fit, availability, and Program Partner needs. Priority may be given to applicants with proven needs, relevant skills, language proficiency, and time flexibility. Placement, Service & Verification AID matches volunteers to preapproved programs. Program Partners will maintain daily sign-in/out logs and a brief role summary; supervisors provide verification to AID. AID may conduct spot checks. Failure to complete assigned service or to obtain verification may result in AID charging Applicant’s credit card for the full amount of Gift Cards issued. Conduct & NonPartisanship Participants must comply with AID’s nonpartisan code, Program Partner rules, and applicable laws. Prohibited activities include campaigning, advocacy for/against any party or candidate, or conduct that compromises safety or integrity. AID may remove participants or decline scholarship issuance for violations. Safety, Insurance & Assumption of Risk You must follow AID Partner safety protocols. Participation is voluntary. Except as required by law, AID and Program Partners are not liable for personal losses, injuries, delays, or disruptions. No Employment Relationship Participation does not create an employment, agency, or contractor relationship with AID or Program Partners. No wages, employee benefits, or workers’ entitlements are conferred. Privacy & Data Protection AID collects the minimum necessary personal data for application, placement, verification, and reporting; access is role based and records are retained per defined schedules to remain audit ready. Taxes & Reporting Tax treatment varies by jurisdiction and individual circumstances; consult your tax advisor. Upon request, AID may provide documentation reflecting Gift Card value. Fraud, Misuse & Claw back AID may suspend participation, void Gift Cards, or seek recovery if it determines fraud, misrepresentation, ineligible or improper use, resale, or noncompliance with these terms or Program Partner rules. AID may refer suspected fraud to law enforcement. Program Changes, Suspension & Termination AID may modify, suspend, or discontinue elements of the program or a participant’s involvement for operational, safety, or compliance reasons, with notice where practicable. Policies may be updated to reflect counsel’s guidance or regulatory changes; the current posted Terms govern. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, AID disclaims indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to participation, and limits direct damages to documented out-of-pocket costs directly caused by AID’s proven breach (excluding any Gift Card value not yet issued). Governing Law & Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New York City. Fly&AID is a nonpartisan scholarship program that supports volunteers who travel to Israel to serve in programs that strengthen the country’s democratic foundations - including support for wounded soldiers, assistance to families impacted by October 7, reconstruction in affected communities, nonpartisan voterparticipation outreach, and support for organizations entrusted with election integrity. Fly&AID is independent from Fly&Vote. Under Fly&Vote, participants pay their own travel. Fly&AID Gift Cards are issued for volunteer services, and may be used for non-travel purchases
Registration for AID approved travel will assure the organizers that you arrive to Israel in time for the dates of the approved projects. AID approved travel also includes a review and approval of travel documents, assuring that you have all the documentation and approvals required to travel to Israel and back and to volunteer for the approved projects

Fly&AID incentivizes service - not voting. No benefit is conditioned on casting a ballot or political viewpoint; activities like campaigning or advocacy for a party or candidate are prohibited in service roles. AID maintains records, and auditready documentation to uphold compliance.
Typical items include: identity and contact information; valid Israeli passport in service window (arrival/departure); minimum/maximum service days (not to exceed 3); personal needs; skills and languages; location/mobility preferences; signed nonpartisan code, code of conduct, privacy consent, and acknowledgments for voucher terms, verification by daily logs, health & safety, and (if required) background check.
Notify AID as soon as possible. Gift Card eligibility is based on completed, verified service days; missed or unverified days will render the Gift Cards void and AID reserves the right to charge you for the full amount of the issued Gift Card. Program policies allow for operational changes or suspension if required by safety or compliance.
No. Participation is voluntary and does not create an employment, agency, or contractor relationship with AID or the Program Partner; no wages or employee benefits are conferred.
You must follow Program Partner safety protocols and are responsible for adequate health, travel, and accident insurance. AID maintains incidentreporting and escalation procedures but is not liable for personal losses or injuries except as required by law.

Yes - but the scholarship is solely for service. Benefits are not tied to voting activity. No support is contingent on whether, how, or if you vote.
A standard service day is 6–8 hours of approved activities. The typical minimum commitment is two service days (Program Partners may request more based on operational needs).
Your application is reviewed for personal needs, AID’ needs and requirements, skills fit, availability, language, and Program Partner needs. If matched, you’ll receive pre deployment briefing/training and your Program Partner reporting process. After service, supervisors submit daily verification.
Partner Programs include community organizations, hospitals/rehab centers, municipal programs, and recognized election integrity organizations. All are preapproved by AID to ensure nonpartisan operations and proper supervision and verification.
